      you will need deep cycle batteries re run the cables as you are using a smaller number of batteries and finding batteries that will fit in the space the old ones are in really it would be easier and cost near same after you take in fact you will brobably need new cables made and if you haven’t messed with running batteries in series befor you can short them and have more trouble so i would leave it as it is and use the8 volts if it were better and cheaper it would have come that way

      The eight 6v batteries do not last as long as the eight 6v batteries by going to four 12v batteries do this be sure to get deep cycle marine or equivalent batteries you maintain the four 12v batteries you will be drastically reducing your capacity ie runtime if you maintain.

      The system im concerned it will cause issues you see my point and asked questions and consider the company you see my point and 500 amps turn you can have 105 volts and the starter you see my point and she cranks right on up do you can have 105 volts but say 10 amps an example volts light.
