Different Colored Golf Balls?

I am just learning how to play golf and after hitting the ball I have a hard time keeping track of the flight and finding it on the ground… are different colored golf balls allowed on golf courses? I found some nifty orange ones today I thought might be useful
If orange isn’t a good color…what is??? Also when buying a set of balls what should I be looking for? Is one name brand better than another?

      They are allowed. The only thing is that orange ones can be hard to find too if they are buried in the rough.

      Yeah they are allowed. Top-Flite has good yellow balls and they are easy to see in the rough since they are so bright. They also go pretty far.

      Yes all color balls are allowed. If you are going to play in fall you might not want to use the color ones though, they blend in with leaves.
