How far should a beginner be able to drive a golf ball?

I am 15, 5 foot 3. and I have never swung a golf club once in my life until 1 week ago. The first time I swung I could drive the ball 175 straight until maybe a 1 foot hook to the right at the end. I can consistently hit it 150 - 200, and never had lessons or swung a club before. Is this good?

      Bobby,

      That’s great! Age, weight, and height are not near as important as hitting the golf ball cleanly.
