how many golf balls does a golfer need in his bag?

I just want to know because I think no golfer needs more than 20-30 golf balls in his bag, I keep 10 and I am no good. the reason I ask is because a golfer where I work keeps over 300 golf balls in his bag, and then every time I have to take out or put his bag in the storage, it is a huge pain, I mean his bag must weigh at least 60 pounds.

Depends on how good you are. I’m in the mid-20s and I usually use up 6-7 balls per round. And that’s me rushing, and not giving that much time to try to find it in the rough.

For like 10 rounds you may need more than that 300 is enough for like 10 rounds you may need dozen or less but ameteurs should need.
For like 10 rounds you cant break 110 then maybe 2030 is good number.
