Depends on how serious you are and how much money you want to spend. I change it every game. I have played with people who never change the ball, unless it gets lost, and some who change it every 6 holes.

everytime i loose it. uhm…but i don’t think it would matter….maybe they just got lucky balls…wait…nevermind whoops. just do what you think. cheers! =D

More of a mental thing. I use mine until it is scuffed. Tour players may change to new ball two or three times per round. Todays ball is solid and is really hard to damage. Real waste too change it unless you are a tour player and there is very little difference between the high and low priced balls. I am a part time tour caddy, play golf daily and could care less what brand I play.

An answer before ill change mine after scuff off cart path or three holes regardless of round which would happen lot with older balatas and feel wouldnt last very long todays urethanecovered balls take lot of condition but then again they say they get prov 1s.

The end of the round it depends on what condition it is in at the round it every round it depends on what condition it is in at the round it is in at the.

The only time you really need to change your golf ball is if it’s badly scuffed. A badly scuffed ball will affect it’s aerodynamics. At the golf range you can notice it if you hit a ball with a bad gash in one side, it will spin erratically. That being said, it needs to be pretty badly scuffed for the average player to notice a difference. I have a friend that changes his ball after the slightest scuff, but his game (and mine) is not so precise that it would ever make a difference.

In addition, really old balls that have been hit alot lose their bounce. You can also notice this at cheap golf ranges that don’t replace their balls often enough. The old overhit balls feel like rocks when you hit them and don’t go as far. But your own balls will probably get scuffed badly long before you hit them often enough to get to such a bad rocklike state.

I have 15 balls and if I dont lose my ball and it is in half decent shape, I keep it.

If it gets lost or damaged considerably, I get a new ball from my bag and buy a new ball/s to keep a count of 15.

I dont buy balls brand new, I get a grade 2nd hand ones
