The sales of golf balls are in the millions of dollars every year. Most of the sales are made because the players loose their golf balls. The media for loosing the golf balls in 18 holes is 4.5 golf balls. Assuming that the distribution for loosing golf balls in 18 holes is a Poisson Distribution

    well literally, you would have to be pretty frickin stupid to loose a golf ball in a hole…if the ball is in the hole, you know where it is.
